Summer Term 2018
We love being in the new Nursery. Although the weather has been terrible for most of the winter and spring we’re now starting to use our outdoor play area. It’s a relaxing place to play and work; there are great plans for it. Our topic at the moment is ‘Teddy Bears.’ We had a week of glorious weather so we were able to have a Teddy Bear’s Picnic outside. In class we have a Teddy Bear’s Doctors. We have uniforms, medicines and medical instruments to help diagnose illness. We’ve read lots of big books about teddy bears.
Health and Safety week was all about what we can do to stay well. We talked about healthy eating, exercise and looking after our teeth. We loved dancing with TREAD and could feel how our heartbeats got faster. We were really lucky that the police could visit with their dogs and a beautiful white horse.
World Book Day is always great. We brought in our favourite books and Year One children came over and shared them with us.
The Superhero Challenge was wonderful fun. We dressed up as our favourite Superhero and went round the obstacle course. Thank you to all the parents, families and friends who helped us raise so much money.
